Crafters Wanted

Pasadena United Methodist Church, located at 61 Ritchie Highway, is looking for crafters for its fall craft fair to be held from 9:00am to 2:00pm on October 20. Space rental is $40 plus $5 if electricity is needed. The fee includes a table and two chairs. Limited third-party vendors will be accepted.

All-You-Can-Eat Pit Beef And Oyster Dinner

Come to Community United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 13, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm for all-you-can-eat dining. The menu will include fried oysters, slow-grilled pit beef prepared by the Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company, homemade macaroni salad, veggies, roles and applesauce.

Limited tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are $25 for adults (eat-in or carryout) and $10 for children under 12. Child care will be provided for free by two preschool teachers during dinner hours. Community United Methodist Church is located at 8680 Fort Smallwood Road. For more information, call 410-255-1506.

Class Of 1978 To Hold Reunion

The Northeast and Chesapeake High classes of 1978 are gathering for a 40-year reunion on Saturday, September 29, from noon to 4:30pm at Kurtz’s Beach. The classes of 1979 and 1980 are also welcome.

For the celebration, former classmates are going back to the ‘70s by partying, playing trivia and giving away prizes. The $35 attendance fee includes food from a menu that has pit beef, pit ham, barbecue chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, country beans, corn, assorted salads, chili, cheese, fresh fruit, draft beer, soda and iced tea.
