Pasadena United Methodist Church will hold its annual church flea market on September 8 from 7:00am to 2:00pm in the church parking lot. Anyone who wants to sell items can secure a space for $25. Vendors can sell clothing, books, small appliances, furniture, DVDs, toys, etc. There are no restrictions on what vendors can sell as long as those items fit in their spaces. The Northeast and Chesapeake High classes of 1978 are gathering for a 40-year reunion on Saturday, September 29, from noon to 4:30pm at Kurtz’s Beach. The classes of 1979 and 1980 are also welcome.

For the celebration, former classmates are going back to the ‘70s by partying, playing trivia and giving away prizes. The $35 attendance fee includes food from a menu that has pit beef, pit ham, barbecue chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, country beans, corn, assorted salads, chili, cheese, fresh fruit, draft beer, soda and iced tea.
