Bucs 8U Girls Finish Strong Season

The Bucs 8U Defenders girls basketball team followed a great season by making a run to the second round of the playoffs. For many of the girls, the season this was their first experience playing basketball. The team comprised Kayla Rau, Madysen Castle, Samantha Majka, Ava Zimmerman, Gabriella Pelino, Audrey Weber, Keera Wilson, Sophie Bossom, Morgan Burr and Shelby Ginevan. The Defenders were coached by Jennifer “JJ” Bossom, Tara Zimmerman and Lynn Castle.

“They all worked hard at practice and were focused on the court during game,” said coach Bossom. “We are all looking forward to the 2018-2019 season.”
