Clifford Balsarick’s boys basketball team went 11-1 overall to win the Bucs 8U championship.

The team of Jayden Balsarick, Lance Blair, Ryder Scott, Michael Taylor, Lennox Lavicka, Dom Waters, Gary Windsor, Brendan Wright and Noah Parsons, coached by Cliff Balsarick and assistants Tony Blair and Gary Windsor, went 7-1 in the regular season and 4-0 in the playoffs.

“The boys worked hard together and came a long way from the first day of practice ‘til the end,” said coach Balsarick, who thanked the parents and fans for their dedicated support and cheering and also praised all the Bucs 8U teams. “Biggest and best parents and fan base. They were always there to cheer us on with all the nail-biters we had … All of the 8u BUCS teams were great and well coached and we all deserve to be champs. [Our team was a] great group of boys for sure. These boys worked their butt off all year to earn this, and I can’t wait to see their future in life and sports … I’m super proud of all the boys.”
