Chesapeake's Ellenberger Passes 300-Win Milestone

Following its game against Westminster on April 14, the Chesapeake softball team honored longtime coach Don Ellenberger for eclipsing the 300-win mark earlier this season. In 17 years leading the program, Ellenberger coached the Cougars to state championships in 2007 and 2008 and appearances in the state final in 2004, 2006, 2011, 2012 and 2014. The Cougars are 12-0 this season and Ellenberger has 310 wins through April 17.
