Cougars And Eagles Make Waves At Counties

At the 2011 Anne Arundel County Championship swim meet, Chesapeake High School racked up 39 points to tie Meade for 9th place, while the Northeast Eagles took 11th place right behind them with 18 points, just in front of Southern, who rounded out the competition.

Despite the lack of a top finish, both the Cougars and the Eagles came up with big swims throughout the event. Chesapeake earned 13 top ten performances, while Northeast earned four as both teams saw swimmers meet personal bests at the meet.
In the end, Severna Park took first place.
