Docksiders Gymnastics Wins Team Titles At Virginia Meet

Docksiders Gymnastics Level 9 and Level 10 teams traveled to Virginia Beach for the recent Gymstrada Invitational meet and collected a slew of individual and team titles.

The Level 9 gymnasts from Docksiders took first-place in the team competition and turned in plenty of strong individual performances. Holly Snyder won vault, uneven bars and balance beam and had the Level 9’s top score of 37.0 to take first all-around in the Junior 1 age group. Susan Maranto placed first overall in the Senior 1 age group with a score of 36.85, while teammate Sarah Zois was second and was the individual champ in both uneven bars and balance beam. Julia Heiner was third all-around and tied Zois as the individual winner in uneven bars.

In the Senior 2 age group, Shianne Marbly won the all-around title with a score of 35.15 and placed first in vault. Adelina Rodriguez and Hannah Schouviller contributed to Docksiders’ team win in their first competitions as Level 9’s.

Kate Wolbart won vault in the Senior 1 age group. Emily Burke placed third in floor exercise in the Junior 2 age group, and Jordan Wagner placed third in uneven bars in the Senior 1 age group.

At Level 10, Rebekah Jenkins placed first in the Senior 2 age group with a high score of 37.875, and she also placed first in both balance beam and floor exercise.

Logan Smith won balance beam and achieved a career-high all-around score of 37.275 to place second in the Senior 1 age group. Ronni Binstock placed third in all-around for the Senior 1 group, and Anaya Smith placed third all around in the Junior age group.
