Junior Latifah Butler scored 15 points and tallied eight rebounds, and in the process reached 1,001 career points on February 15 as the Northeast Eagles fell, 46-30, to Broadneck. Butler, who has been somewhat of a shining star this season, averages 14 points per game amidst a season of growth but few wins.

“I thought it was going to be a tough game. Broadneck has a really good program,” said first year head coach Patricia Delfs, adding, “I thought we were a little flat-footed and got beat back a few times too many. We need to step up our intensity level.”
On the bright side, Delfs said the team “played tough defense and for the most part kept Broadneck to one shot.”
Jessica Walter and Courtney Wooldford chipped in with six points apiece, and Alicia Dixon scored one in the loss.
