Editor's Voice

It seems spring has sprung… It’s been a busy month at The Voice. We’ve been preparing to launch the brand new Pasadena Voice website that went live with this issue, plus revamping our Spring Home and Garden Guide contained in this issue.
If that’s not enough, the votes have been pouring in for our “Best of Pasadena” survey.
The website is an exciting development that’s been in the works for some time now. Readers can see their favorite stories in digital edition (with color photos), and get some exclusive, online only content, as well. Plus, if you log in you can make comments on articles and add your events to the digital calendar. The website also features a blog where we can share some of the latest news, coolest updates and fun stuff that come into the office, a nice addition to our digital component.
Spring seems to be about fresh new things, and while the Spring Home and Garden Guide isn’t new, it certainly has a new look. We’ve updated to a more colorful, magazine-like format, including a neat cover feature, but we’ve kept all the helpful tidbits and info everyone loves inside the guide.
There is still time to vote in the “Best of Pasadena” survey. The ballots were in the February issue and again in this issue. The deadline to vote is April 1.
As I write this, the sun is shining, the doors are open and the fresh air is flowing in – and I’m captured again by the beauty that is spring. The days are getting longer, things are starting to warm up and the plant life is getting ready to grow, calling to mind the words of Virgil A. Kraft, “Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.”
Much like the world around us, The Voice has been blooming, and I’m thrilled, honored even, to be part of it.
