Feirstein and Cummings Make Mark On Pasadena

At Coldwell Banker, the realtors are focused on personal touches and meeting customers’ needs — even the ones customers aren’t aware of.

“All of Anne Arundel County is so water-oriented, people come to our region for the lifestyle,” Feirstein said.
 

Feirstein, who has worked in the industry for many years, said she intently listens to her clients’ needs and desires when shopping for a new home.
 

“I try and put myself in their place when I’m either helping them purchase their home or selling their home, and understand the family dynamics and what’s really important to them,” Feirstein said. “I know we’re very in tune to using the internet for everything, but I feel like personal service to families, or buyers and sellers, to our clients is paramount.”
 

Feirstein described her role as being similar to a counselor or psychologist because she analyzes what her clients are saying to really narrow down what it is they want out of their new home.
 

“Sometimes they’re not really sure of the direction, so we can understand from years of doing this,” Feirstein said. “The different things they may tell us that are really important, the buyers or sellers don’t even realize it’s really important.”
 

Patrick Cummings, a salesperson at Coldwell Banker, said it’s key to understand each customer’s lifestyle and what they are trying to achieve.
 

“It’s important knowing the neighborhoods and knowing what areas and what neighborhoods have to offer in terms of their amenities, and matching that with their needs and their lifestyle,” Cummings said.
 

In addition to going above and beyond for their customers, Feirstein and Cummings personally donate to Downs Park.
 

“Each transaction we have as realtors that closes in the zip code for Pasadena, we will be making a donation to Friends of Downs Park,” Feirstein said.
 

Their donations are going toward rebuilding the amphitheater and funding special events, like the park’s Community Family Day, holiday party and Halloween trail. The partnership started earlier this year.
 

“The idea is to help,” Cummings said. “Friends of Downs Park is a nonprofit, so it helps with bringing park awareness and bringing people to the park through the various things that they do.”
