Galilee Sets Record For “Christmas Child” Boxes

Operation Christmas Child was a huge success, with Galilee Lutheran Church putting together a record 510 boxes. Of those 510 boxes, 130 were stuffed with supplies during a packing party on Thursday, November 16.

 

The church thanks the many people who embraced this project to fill Christmas gift shoeboxes with school supplies, health items and toys for children around the world through Samaritan’s Purse, an evangelical Christian international relief organization. Also vital to the project were the people who contributed funds to cover shipping costs ($9 per box).
