Galilee To Welcome New Pastor On July 7

Galilee Lutheran Church is installing its new pastor, the Rev. Matt Hilpert, on July 7 at 2:00pm at the church, which is located at 4652 Mountain Road in Pasadena. Hilpert formerly served as senior pastor at Saint Mark Lutheran Church in Hawaii and vicar at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Texas. The installation ends a year-long search. Galilee Lutheran’s last pastor, the Rev. Hank Simon, retired in June 2018 and moved to Florida with his wife, Mary.
