Lake Shore Girls Capture Tournament

The Fury, a team comprised of 11 and 12 year old Lake Shore Basketball players, won four straight games to capture the tournament title on Saturday, February 26 at George Fox Middle School. The girls tournament run featured wins over other Lake Shore teams, as well as teams from other Pasadena and Elvaton basketball leagues.
In the championship game, the Fury were put to the ultimate test surviving three intense overtimes in a seemingly never-ending battle to win the title. Ultimately, it was the Fury who came out on top 24-23.
Heading into the tournament, the Fury dominated their age group with a 7-1 record during their first season playing together as a team.
