Merry Christmas, Pasadena!

Delegate, District 31

As I write this, my wife and I just returned home from the Pasadena Christmas tree lighting and the kids are now in bed. Earlier, at Lakeshore Plaza, my family and I had the honor of leading the countdown to light the Christmas tree, which was great fun! Some wonderful members of the Pasadena Business Association created this amazing tradition in our town and I know I am speaking for thousands of you in saying “thank you” to them. This has surely grown into something huge and important to our sense of community – I know the Kipke kids love it. Merry Christmas and happy holidays, Pasadena!

I am also mindful that Election Day was just one month ago. While the results were not all exactly what I had hoped for, I am grateful to the people of our community for your votes and confidence in me to continue representing you for another four years. Representing our community is an amazing privilege, and despite how challenging politics can sometimes be, I am eager to continue working to help people right here in our community, support meaningful legislation, protect the rights of our citizens, and protect taxpayers.

I also look forward to working with Delegate-elect Brian Chisholm, Senator Bryan Simonaire and our new councilman, Nathan Volke. We all campaigned together, so I already know we work well together, and I believe our team approach will benefit the district. Next month, the 90-day legislative session begins, and we are all eager to get to work to pass a fiscally responsible state budget and work to address important issues for our district. This is a good time to reach out to us regarding issues that you’d like to see addressed in our community, to express your thoughts about problems that need to be solved or to express your views about legislation that is likely to be introduced.

To get in touch, you can email me at kipke@kipke.com or call me at 410-841-3421. Our whole team values our community and we are all ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work to make our community an even better place to live, work, raise a family and retire!
