Mutiny Pirate Bar & Island Grille Partnered With Famous Miracle Holiday Pop-Up Bar Franchise

Mutiny Pirate Bar & Island Grille is holding a holiday pop-up bar throughout December.

However, this isn’t the average pop up bar.

Mutiny partnered with Miracle, the New York-based franchise run by the same people who own Cocktail Kingdom, a high-end barware company.

“These are literally some of the most talented bartenders in the world that put the program together, so we were excited to be a part of it,” said Nate Hynson, the general manager at Mutiny. “It’s also an opportunity to give back to the community, which we always love. We thought it would be a cool thing to do in our new restaurant to really make a splash for the holiday season.”

Miracle sends all participating bars a drink menu, recipes and retail glassware. The glassware includes shot glasses, eggnog cups and coupe glasses. All proceeds from the glassware go directly to Action Against Hunger.

All participating bars have a uniform menu and recipes, but they are free to pick their own charities to donate to.

“We think it’s awful that there are hungry children in this world,” said Rob Wecker, one of the owners of Mutiny, on his decision to choose Action Against Hunger. “Feeding hearts, souls and stomachs really speaks to us.”

Miracle partnered with 51 bars across the globe, including locations in Canada, France and Brazil. However, Mutiny is the only bar in the Baltimore metro area that partnered with the franchise.

“They just want to be exclusive. If 10 bars in Baltimore get to sign up for it, it takes some of the uniqueness and specialness out of it,” Hynson said. “We have had people specifically come in to check out the Miracle stuff.”

The pop-up bar runs through December 31. Mutiny Pirate Bar & Island Grille is at a new location in Pasadena: 33 Magothy Beach Road, Suite 100.
