With spring in full bloom, the beloved activities at Historic Hancock’s Resolution have arrived at last. Through the farm’s rich combination of history, tradition, education and entertainment, the 2011 calendar of events offers an array of unique opportunities to experience a day-in-the-life of what Pasadena was like nearly 200 years ago. All events begin at 1:00pm, unless otherwise noted.

Sunday, June 19: 403 years ago, in June, 1608, Captain John Smith mapped Bodkin Creek along his travel route. During this educational presentation, Captain John Smith and his historic National Trail will be honored.

During this particular weekend, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm., visitors can observe the herd of goats grazing.

Sunday, August 21: For all battle reenactment enthusiasts, the Ninth Annual Hancock’s Resolution War of 1812 Reenactment will be held from 10:00am until 4:00pm. To commemorate the War of
