PBA Donates $10,000 To Historic Hancock’s Resolution

With the publication of two history books, “Between Two Rivers” in 1999 and “The Pasadena Peninsula” in 2001, the Pasadena Business Association realized profits beyond its normal operating budget. These profits were then earmarked for member benefits, community assistance and scholarships. The PBA also made a pledge to help Hancock’s Resolution meet requirements that would open it up to schoolchildren and other larger audiences. The 18th-century farm is remarkable for its preservation of history. A dedicated group of volunteers lend their own antique farming implements, their knowledge and their time to preserve the practices of the past. The Hancock’s Resolution Foundation is near its goal for the final permitting process and the PBA looks forward to presenting a check for $10,000.
