PBA To Hold Community Crab Feast In September

Posted

If you always look forward to the annual community crab feast put on by the Pasadena Business Association, don’t worry — you didn’t miss it this year. Instead of holding it in July, when the heat and humidity have usually been overbearing for guests, the PBA this year will hold the popular tradition in September. Mark your calendars now for Wednesday, September 26, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, when the Pasadena community will convene at Kurtz’s Beach for crabs, drinks and other refreshments. Tickets are $55 for adults before September 19 and $65 thereafter, and $40 for children (ages 6-10) before September 19 and $50 thereafter. Children ages 5 and younger are free. The ticket covers the menu of crabs, crab soup, barbecue, fried chicken, sausage, baked pasta, baked pineapple, hot dogs, chili and cheese, vegetables and dip, green beans, fresh fruit, rolls and crackers, assorted salads, dessert, draft beer, soda, coffee, and iced tea. A cash bar will be available for wine, canned and bottled products, and mixed drinks. Food will be served 6:00-9:00pm and crabs will be served 6:30-9:30pm.
