I can’t believe it is back to school time! The summer went by so quickly!

The Pasadena Business Association understands the importance of networking your business. We will be having a Joint Networking Mixer with the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce to give your business even more exposure. The mixer will be held on August 30 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Bamboo Bernies Restaurant. The cost is $10 paid in advance and $15 at the door. Please check the website for more information.

We are preparing for our 8th Annual Golf Tournament. This is a fun day at Compass Point Golf Course, whether you golf or volunteer to help. If you would like more information please visit our website or call Brenda Hodgson, 410-360-2228.

Our next General Membership Meeting is September 7th at noon. The meeting will be held at Cheshire Crab with Sgt. Newman from the Anne Arundel County Police Department as our speaker. Sgt. Newman and a detective from our area will speak for 10 minutes about business safety and what we need to do to keep Pasadena a safe place to work, live, and play. Members will then be able to ask questions or express their concerns.

PBA is celebrating 25 years so it is a great time to join. Yearly membership dues are very reasonable and you will meet hundreds of new business friends. We offer free directory listings, connections with local politicians, free website listings, leads group opportunities, a community-wide trade Show, and several different social events. You will also be a part of a great organization that gives back to our community through scholarships to local high school seniors, 5th and 8th graders, and other community and school involvement.

Check out our website:  www.pasadenabusinessassociation.com for information on membership or upcoming events.

Remember to shop local and support those businesses that create local jobs, support youth activities, schools and churches in our community.
