PSC Revolution Dominate Opening Tournament

The Pasadena Soccer Club U9 Revolution started the fall season in dominant fashion at the Harford Football Club Kick-Off Classic on August 5, scoring a whopping 28 goals and steamrolling to a 3-0 record and a tournament championship.

The team of Gavin Allison, Rocco Couzantino, Jack Foster, Gianfranco Gonzalez-Caceres, Garrett Greb, Joey Kazmierski, Max Narock, Greyson Tillery, Logan Weaver, Tucker Wingard and Darnell Witten was unstoppable in tournament victories over Old Line FC, Harford FC and Bel Air FC en route to the tournament championship. Nine different players scored goals for the Revolution, who captured a title playing its first tournament together.

“[It was] a complete team effort,” said assistant coach Joe Kazmierski, who coaches the U9 Revolution with head coach Shawn Wingard and assistant coach Jeff Tillery. “The coaches were proud of the boys’ soccer skills, but more importantly the sportsmanship they showed towards the other teams and with each other.”

The PSC U9 Revolution will look to add to its tournament success over Labor Day weekend when the team competes in the Capital Cup in Olney before beginning regular-season play this fall in the Central Maryland Soccer Association.
