PSC U12 Storm Girls Represent In Columbia With 4-0 Weekend

The Pasadena Soccer Club U12 Storm girls produced a championship result over Memorial Day weekend, going 4-0 to win the Soccer Association of Columbia Memorial Day Invitational.

Playing up to a more competitive bracket, the Storm roster of Emilee Mack, Jaide Whitehead, Lily Dorsey, Riley Haney, Gracie Asare, Ayla Weseman, Emily Bryant, Kendal Barnes, Maddie Raynes, Maggie Cochran, Natalie Baker, Leilah Horrigan, Gabrielle Gray, Alexandra Lawrence, Alison Muzik, Lillian Barnum, Hutton Pitts and Ryleigh Smoot nonetheless soared to four impressive victories over Severna Park Premier, Pipeline, Bethesda SC, and FC Copa Academy of New Jersey.

The team won the championship game over Copa Academy on penalty kicks after a regulation tie.

Horrigan, the team’s goalkeeper, allowed only one goal in the Storm’s four games.

“These girls played with so much heart and gave it everything they had on that field,” said coach Cary Shank. “We are so unbelievably proud of them. [The] coaches cannot wait to see what else they can do. They really stepped it up this weekend. Way to represent Pasadena Soccer Club.”
