Question Of The Month: Jacobsville Elementary School

Posted

Each month, the Pasadena Voice poses a question to a local fifth-grade class. This month, students from Ms. Schuler’s class at Jacobsville Elementary School answered the question:

If you could control the weather, what would you make it do?

I would have it be warm so I could play more baseball and so I could go outside and play with my brother outside and I could go fishing.
Austin M.

If I could control the weather, I would make it sunny, maybe a little breezy or sometimes chilly all year long so I could go to the park and get snowballs. I could also swim in my big pool.
Avah H.

I would make it sunny and warm outside. I would do this because it would always be nice out and I could cut the grass more. I would also do this to get in the pool.
Brandon F.

I would make it sunny because I love sun and we get to have fun and play outside.
Brooke A.

If I could control the weather, I would make it be sunny every day with a temperature between 70 and 80 degrees so I could go outside all the time with friends, and I am tired of this cold weather.
Cayden K.

I would have the weather be sunny and 90 degrees outside because then we would go to the park a lot and we would go outside every day for recess. This would be all year.
Chelsea P.

I would have it be sunny all the time because I can play outside whenever I want to.
Chloe B.

If I could control the weather, I would make it warm. But if I got too warm, I would make it a little cold. I say that because whenever it’s warm, I wish it were cold, and whenever it’s cold, I wish it were warm.
Delaney D.

I would make it snow every day unless I had a baseball game. I would do this because we would have no school and I love baseball. I would invite Ms. Schuler over though.
Dylan A.

If I could control the weather, I would make it be sunny, warm and awesome. The temperature would be 87 degrees, but this would be all year.
Gavin L.

If I could control the weather, I would have it be sunny all the time because then I could go swimming and horseback riding. I could also get snowballs.
Jayde W.

I would have the weather most of the time sunny and hot and some days rainy and cool. It is nice to have a nice day in the pool and the beach and some days rainy because the earth is so dry. It would be nice, like summer, forever.
Kaydence C.

I would make the weather sunny or rainy. On sunny days, it would be 70 to 90 degree days. On rainy days it, will rain for six hours.
Logan S.

I would make it sunny because we can wear shorts and we can play outside and swim. All of those things are fun. Being inside is boring because of the cold weather.
Maddi T.

I would make less rain but still some rain because I like rain sometimes, so maybe three times a month. In the summer, I would make it 70 to 80 degrees every day, also in the spring. In fall, it would be only 50 to 60 degrees so it's still a little warm. In winter, there would be lots of snow and the weather is 30 to 40 degrees.
Madeline O.

If I could control the weather, I would make it sunny because I would be able to get in the pool.
Micaila C.

I would make it just a little cold, but not really cold. Kind of like the temperature in fall. Fall is my favorite season. I love when the leaves turn colors.
Nalani C.

I would have the weather kind of stay the same as it is in Maryland but definitely sunnier. It is good to have some change.
Skylar H.

I would want to make it not too hot and not too cold, like 60 or 70 degrees. I would make it like this because it would feel really nice outside and you could play outside and go swim a lot.
Tyler H.

If I could control the weather, I would make it sunny and like 70 to 90 degrees because then I could play outside a lot and I could go swimming a lot. I also could go get ice cream a lot!
Veronica M.

I would choose summer because I want to go swimming and I’m ready for the winter.
Zakarii B.
