Signing Day: Pasadena Student Athletes Make College Commitments

Posted

A handful of Pasadena student athletes made their college commitments official on February 7, which was the first spring signing day for National Letters of Intent.

Six athletes participated in a signing day ceremony at Chesapeake:

Maddison Wheeler, Air Force Academy, soccer

Ellen Ziaja, Emory University, soccer

Patrick Miller, Averett University, soccer

Jake Hynson, Hood College, soccer

Andrew Colebrook, York College, soccer

Andrew Long, Wingate University, football

Chesapeake football players William Sullivan and Dante Thompson are also committed to play next year at Frostburg University.

Update February 9: Daniel Casalino committed to Frostburg's football program on February 8 to become the fourth Chesapeake football player in the graduating class of 2018 to commit to play college football.

At Northeast, Kinlee Bruns committed to play soccer at Saint Peter’s University.

Correction on Thursday, February 8 at 5:12 p.m.: This article is corrected from an earlier version which misstated the college that Andrew Colebrook will be attending. Colebrook will be playing soccer at York College.
