Student-Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent

Chesapeake and Northeast student-athletes made their dreams official on November 14 by signing National Letters of Intent to play college sports.

Signing-day ceremonies were held at both campuses, and the student-athletes celebrated with family, coaches, teachers and friends.

At Chesapeake, signees included field hockey players Rachel Fleig (Appalachian State), Tatum Schatt (Washington College) and Hannah McKeon (Towson). Girls lacrosse signees included Lindsey Spies (Arizona State), Hannah Leidig (Shenandoah), Kiersten Blanchard (York), Erin Shifflett (Shepherd University), Eryn Beal (Temple) and Grace Muller (Frostburg). Haley Downin committed to play softball at Wilmington, and Megan Byle committed to play soccer at Bridgewater. Hunter Davis will play football at Salisbury. Thomas Bullen and Dylan Wolfe committed to play lacrosse at UMBC and Lynchburg, respectively.

Northeast’s Adam Brooks committed to Virginia Wesleyan for lacrosse.
