Arundel Federal sponsored its eighth annual Chip in for the Arts golf tournament in Pasadena on April 21. A total of $23,550 was raised to support the children’s arts and education programs at the Chesapeake Arts Center (CAC).

“It’s been such a tough year for so many kids adjusting to all the coronavirus restrictions, and to see so many friends, neighbors and businesses come out and support the CAC is heartwarming,” said Tom Herpel, president and CEO of Arundel Federal. “The monies collected from the tournament support the CAC’s arts and education classes, which give thousands of local children the chance to participate and learn about themselves through all the wonderful activities at the center. I’m honored to be a part of such a caring community.”

Just over 100 golfers gathered at Compass Pointe Golf Course to enjoy a day of competitions including closest to the pin, longest drive, and a chance to win a trip to a major golf tournament with a hole in one.
