Blue Storm Soccer Team Wreaks Havoc At Annapolis Cup

The Brausa BUFC 07 Blue Storm made a championship run during the Annapolis Cup from August 22-23. The team, which has several Pasadena athletes, went undefeated in their bracket before losing in the final to Maryland United Red, which was ranked as the No. 8 team in the state.

With this being the Blue Storm's first tournament of the season, the coaches were proud to see the girls were patient with the ball, communicated and found open spacing to pass. They played an organized soccer game, controlling possession throughout.

"We can't believe how much they have developed since last season and throughout the summer,” said head coach Cary Shank. “They simply amaze us every time they step out onto the field. They have so much passion and heart, and they play for each other.”
