Visit The Annapolis Blend chorus for an afternoon of musical creativity and connection with others. If you love to sing, lift your voice at the pop-up chorus on May 17 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Wiley Bates Legacy Center, located at 1101 Smithville Street in Annapolis.
This two-hour event includes learning to sing four-part a cappella harmony through brief vocal warm-ups and vocal coaching on the song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" All women's voices are welcome, and no experience is necessary. No preparation is required.
This event is free for all attendees. Register in advance to get the music and learning tracks or just come and sing. Preregistration is available at www.theannapolisblend.org/popupchorus.
The Annapolis Blend is the local award-winning chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide intergenerational women’s singing organization dedicated to the education and performance of four-part a cappella barbershop harmony. This local group rehearses on Tuesdays at 7:00pm at the Annapolis Senior Center.
