Schools all over the nation participated in Red Ribbon Week in late October to promote a healthy and drug-free environment.
In Pasadena, Fort Smallwood Elementary School students and staff were encouraged to celebrate by dressing with a healthy and encouraging theme each day.
Monday - Wear team clothing to show that if you work as a team, FSES can stay healthy.
Tuesday - Wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt to show that being healthy is no sweat.
Wednesday - Wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Thursday - Wear your favorite superhero shirt and jeans because superheroes and “jean”iuses don’t use drugs.
Friday - Wear red or FSES spirit gear to show that if everyone should work together to be drug-free and healthy.
