While it may not be easy to string up lights, decorating is a special part of the holidays for many people, and driving around Pasadena and Severna Park to look at lights has become a local tradition.

Consider stopping by these local favorites this holiday season.

Pasadena

1126 Mount Drive

Located off of Stoney Creek Drive, this display is a byproduct of the hard work of a family that works hard to bring together decorations.

1532 Marco Drive

This house off of Forest Glen Drive in Cedarwood Cove combines old and new decorating trends for the ultimate festive display.

207th Street

Perpendicular to Outing and Catherine avenues, one home on 207th Street goes all out.

703 Pasadena Road

The Sterling family decorates their home every year after Halloween. This year, the decorations will stay in place until the week after the New Year.

House of Christmas at 1121 Sledge Court

Located in Green Haven, off of Tick Neck Road, the House of Christmas is a local favorite. The display will be up through January 2 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm.

Farmington Village

Many houses in Farmington Village have beautiful light displays. This is the perfect drive-through neighborhood with access to both Waterford Road and Catherine Avenue.

Lake Shore Drive

Driving down Lake Shore Drive is beautiful during the holidays.

Ullman Road

The lighted tree on Ullman Road has been a local favorite for years. Holiday light enthusiasts come from all over Anne Arundel County to witness this famous tree.

Severna Park

519 White Oak Drive

Located off of Robinson Road and across from Severna Park High School, this house has a beautiful display every year.

Armstrong Lane

There is a house on Armstrong Lane with an interactive light display. Community members have been invited to walk down the driveway in years past.

Fordham Court

Located off of West Pasadena Road and Fordham Drive in Millersville, a house in this court is sure to impress.
