Join Anne Arundel County Food Bank In Its Fight Against Hunger

Posted

The Anne Arundel County Food Bank is hosting a month of activities for Hunger Action Month in September. The food bank is asking everyone in Anne Arundel County to take action to fight hunger in their community all month long. Every action, big or small, makes a real difference. Check out the calendar of events here: www.aafoodbank.org/action.

Upcoming event highlights include:

September 1: Kickoff event with a talk by Dr. Pam Brown entitled “Hunger Amidst Plenty.”

September 17: Hunger Action Day and Go Orange. Wear orange to show your support to fight hunger throughout Anne Arundel County.

For each activity you complete during Hunger Action Month, an anonymous donor will give $5 to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, up to $5,000! Download the calendar, mark off the dates, and then email it back to communications@aafoodbank.org to have your activity dates counted. Each person can raise $150 for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank by doing an activity a day.
