Fall Festival and Open House (with mini cows!)

Curious to learn about a new approach to school and have some fall fun?
Our open house features a petting zoo (with mini cows, piglets, rabbits, and goats), s'mores and cider, pumpkin bowling, arts and crafts, and more! 100% free!

Our learners will be leading tours of our school and explaining more about our Acton Academy program. We currently serve grades 1-8 with plans to expand to K-12 in the near future.

The Acton Academy learner-driven philosophy features:

1. Using the latest in educational technology to enable an individualized "mastery" focus on reading, writing, and math.
2. Engaging in hands-on projects (called quests) to master the tools and skills needed to solve problems in the real world.
3. Building strong bodies through daily outdoor activities.
4. An adventure trip every week to explore the world and spark curiosity.
5. A multi-age environment that develops independent thinking, communication skills, and character through Socratic discussions, town hall meetings, and peer learning.
